Her kommer et innlegg på ekte "vigra-engelsk" :-)
This card I`m sending to Sugar Creek Hollow. They have a challenge this week to make a recipe-card.
My great grandfather was a baker and had a bakery and a store.
My grandfather and grandmother took over this business
I can remember, as a little girl, that I used to "help" my grandfater in the bakery.
In our family we use to bake "julemanna"- (christmasmen) for Christmas.
It`s not Christmas witout these cookies! :-) ..

The recipe is my great grandfaters, and some of the ingredience is "a bit of this and a dash of that".
What you need is:
... and of course MILK....
1,5 dl milk
175 g sugar
75 g margarine
1 ts hjortesalt ( can use baking flour)
some potato flour
flour til the dough is "good"
Melt the margarine, have the milk in, then the sugar and flour and the rest of the ingredience.
The dough should be firm.

The dough is best if you leave it in the fridge over night.
Roll out the dough and make cakes in differen shapes. Men, ladies, angels, pigs, stars and hearts.
In the owen at 180 C in about 10 min.
The cakes must be light colored, not brown!
Here is my card:
